Every black line that you see running along the forefoot is part of a slightly raised "rib." Purposed and advertised to aid in adding friction between the boot and the ball, the boot does have some nice grip when having the ball underfoot. Whether attempting to execute a quick flick or merely running at pace, the boot makes you feel confident that the ball is going to acquiesce to your will. It's not overly aggressive, and we don't think this is going to be the type of tech where your mate brags about how it turned him into CR7 overnight, but it's a nice feature for players wanting to keep the ball under their spell during close control.
